The Bolsheviks took power in Russia in 1917. It was able to do this because it contained more than 25 thousand members. -

The communist party gathered the different people of Russia and created the Soviet Union. -

In 1939, Joseph Stalin became the leader of the Soviet Union as WWII started. -

Brezhnev became the leader of The Soviet Union. He pushed Khrushchev out of power because of the way he ruled. -
