Bobby Orr displayed his hockey talents from an early age. Orr first played organized hockey at the age of five in 1953. he was faster than all the other boys and that made him an interest to lots of teams

Because of Bobby Orr's speed and talent on the ice he was recognized by the Boston bruins and was added to the youth hockey tenement in 1961. at this point he was only 13.

Bobby Orr suffered a knee injury and had to retire. He tried to make a comeback but after playing six games decided to permanently retire from playing. Bobby Orr started a new role as an assistant to Chicago general manager. Orr retired having scored 270 goals and 645 assists for 915 points in 657 games, adding 953 penalty minutes.
