J.J. Thompson
Described the atom as a ball of positive charged containing a number of electrons. -
Enrest Rutherford
Used gold foil experiment to determine that the nucleus of th atom is very dense and had a positive charge. When he did this he discovered the proton. He also assumed that electrons were outside the nucleus of the atom. -
Neils Bohr
Explained the atomic structure of the atom as successive orbital shells of electrons. Model the Bohr Planetary model. -
De Broglie and Schrodenger
Identified electron cloud model as the probable loication of moveing electrons. -
James Chadwick
Discovered a particle within the nucleus that has a mass similar to that of a proton. He is now credidted with discovering the nuetron. -
Atomic Bomb
The atomic bomb ended World War 2 with the Japanesse. The atomic bomb was dropped on the cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It was very hard to make an atomic bomb because the uranieum needed to make it was hard to extract. The uranium would set off a chain reaction that would make the bomb explode. -
Atomic Cloock
The atomic clock is the most precise clock. It runs on microwaves not radioactive waves. Electrons emit microwave signals when they change energy levels. -

Estabilshed in India. Contain nuclear reactors and other nuclear things. Its main purpose is nuclear research for India.
