  • The Terrorist Attacks of 9/11

    The September 11 attacks were 4 coordinated attacks by the terrorist group, al-Qaeda. Hijacked planes hit both of the twin towers in New York and the Pentagon. A fourth Plane was intended to hit the capitol, but the passengers took over the plane and crashed it in a field in Pennsylvania before it could ever reach the capitol. The attacks caused more than 3,000 deaths and more than 25,000 injuries.
