The bomb destroyed 324 buildings within a sixteen-block radius, burned 86 cars, Caused at least $652 million worth of damage.

It was a series of 4 suicide attacks. The hijackers intentionally piloted two of those planes, into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. The hijackers also intentionally crashed into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and intended to pilot the fourth hijacked jet, into a target in Washington, D.C. but crashed into a field.
