  • Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway was a brutal fight in Japanese waters. American naval forces destroyed island after island striving for the Japanese mainland. The battle was eventually halted after the sinking of the American carrier Yorktown, but the fight was still crippling for Japan's forces.
