After Macbeth defeated the Thane of Cawdor King Duncan has him executed and Macbeth takes his place.

The first part of the witches' prophecy has come true, and Macbeth starts considering the possibilities of murdering King Duncan.

Duncan officially names his own son Malcolm as hier to the throne. But to honor Macbeth, Duncan decides to visit Macbeth's castle at Inverness. (Macbeths plot soon begins)

Lady Macbeth finally discovers about the witches' prophecies, and that one has already come true. She is determined Macbeth will become King.

Lady macbeth and her husband put on a good "show" so that Duncan would never suspect that it would be them to commit the crime.

Once again Macbeth is changing his mind about the murderous thoughts. And once again Lady Macbeth wants him to follow through like a man. She tells him the plan of getting all of the Kings servants drunk and when they are sleeping Macbeth will stab the King with the servants' weapons.

Lady Macbeth confronts her husband about the idea of murdering Macbeth and he backs off the issue saying that he doesn't think it is the greatest of ideas. She then makes him feel guilty by insulting him and making him feel like a coward for not keeping his word.

Banquo tells Macbeth about his uneasy dreams of the witches and Macbeth promises to discuss the issues later. Once alone, Macbeth imagines a dagger leading him toward the King's chamber. He then hears the bell which is the signal to go to Duncan's room.

Macbeth finally goes through with the plan and murders Duncan. Lady Macbeth takes the bloody daggers back so that the servants will be blamed. Macbeth then washes up and changes into different clothes as if nothing had happened.

Macduff finds Duncan has been murdered. And to fool everyone Macbeth acts enraged and kills to servants. Also Lady Macbeth faints to sell that she had no idea of the murder.

Fearing for their lives Malcolm and Donalbain sneakily escape hoping to leave the country.

Banquo suggests that they should have a meeting to discuss the murder and the actions they should take.

Banquo is suspicious that Macbeth killed Duncan. And he hopes that the prophecy of his sons becoming King.

Macbeth invites Banquo and his sons to the state banquet.

Macbeth expresses his fear of Banquo and that the witches promise that Banquos sons will become Kings.

Out of fear Macbeth persuades two murderers to kill Banquo and his son, Fleance, before the banquet.

Banquo's death is reported at the banquet. Macbeth is disturbed by the news and it gets worse when he sees the bloody ghost of Banquo. Lady Macbeth tries to explain her husbands strange behavior as an illness to cover up what he was doing. Lady Macbeth dismisses the guests in fear that her husband will reveal too much.

Banquo is killed by two hired murderers but Fleance escapes. Once the banquet begins Macbeth sees the ghost of Banquo and begins to behave strangely. Lady Macbeth is nervous that Macbeth will reveal too much so she dismisses the guests.

Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both share there concerns and dreams that they have been having sense Duncans death. They both decide to hide there emotions tonight at the banquet even though Macbeth says that terrible events will occur at the banquet.

Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are alone and Macbeth tells her about his suspicious of Macduff because he is absent from the banquet. He says he will visit the witches again and hints that a bloody deed will happen.

Hecate, the goddes of witchcraft, scolds the other witches for dealing with Macbeth independently and planning his downfall by boosting his confidence.

Lennox and another Scottish Lord are coming to the conclusion that Macbeth is the murderer of Banquo and Duncan. Macduff is off to England to raise an army to regain the Scottish throne.

The first Apparation tells him beware of Macbeth. The next one assures Macbeth that he will never be harmed by anyone born of a woman. The third one tells him that he will never be defeated until the tree of Birnam Wood moved towards his castle.

The witches show Macbeth a line of Kings who all resemble Banquo, suggesting that Banquo's son will become King. Lennox tells Macbeth that Macduff has gone to English court. Macbeth swears to kill Macduff's family.

Murderers sent by Macbeth come and kill both Macduff's wife and son

Macduff wants Malcolm to join him in his invasion of Scotland. Malcolm tests him to see what kind of King he would support. Macduff passes the test and Malcolm tells him he has 10,000 soldiers ready to launch and attack.

Lady Macbeth was observed by a concerned attendant and a doctor while she is sleepwalking. She appears to be washing her hands because she thinks that they are covered with blood. The doctor is concerned that she may harm herself.

The Scottish Rebels led by Lennox and Menteith have come to Birnam Wood to join Malcolm and his army. Thus foreseeing Macbeth's downfall because they are bringing the wood back to the castle, which fulfills the third Apparation.

Lady Macbeth dies, which doesn't bother Macbeth. Macbeth is tired of life and sees no purpose. He then finds that Birnam Wood is moving towards the castle. He decides to leave the castle to fight and die on the battlefield.

Macduff finally hunts down Macbeth. Macbeth then finds out that Macduff was ripped from his mother's womb, thus not born naturally. Courageously Macbeth decides to fight until death. Macduff returns to the castle holding Macbeth's bloody head. Proclaiming victory and pronouncing Malcolm new King
