Nicholas CopernicusHe thought that the heliocentric model was true. He thought that that the Earth rotated on it's axis once a day. He also said that the Earth rotateds the sun, and the moon rotates the Earth.
Sir Isaac NewtonThe Universal Law of Gravoity and Inertia (which he created) explains that Onein a same force pulls objects to Earth and keeps the moon in orbit. Inertia is a property of matter. An objects property of matter. An object's state of motion does not change unless a force acts opon an object.
