    Germany launched a large bombing attack on the city of London. They felt that they were closing in on victory. The British Royal Air force took to the sky and scattered the German bombers. They shot down a number of German planes.. Although Germany would continue bombing London and other targets in Great Britain for a long time, the raids began to slow as they realized they could not defeat the Royal Air Force.

    The bombing of Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th 1941, The Japanese empire had decided to launch a sneak attack on the country of the USA. The Japanese had decided that they would attempt to take out our Naval fleet, and in doing so- they had created a few weapons specialized for the shallow waters on the coast. The United States had put roughly around 30% of our naval fleets in these waters, in hopes that since they were shallow the Japanese would not be able to get a direct hit.

This is the first time that the United states had ever taken any type of aircraft into war, they took smaller aircrafts so that they could fit more onto the seacraft.

    The battle of Stalingrad, also known as the bloodiest battle ever in history- In the battle of Stalingrad Germany and all of it's allied forces attempted to conquer Stalingrad- The Germans had starved and froze to death on their way up to Stalingrad, because Hitler may have been smart with his strategies however he did not consider the harsh winters of the deep soviet north. They ate horses, dogs, and whatever they could find however they never resorted to cannibalism.,
