The Japanese Invasion of China was also called The Second Sino-Japanese War. During the invasion the Great Wall of China was captured by the Japanese. The Chinese Republic and the Empire of Japan had been at war since 1931 but esculated in 1937. At the Battle of Shanghai there were 150,000 casualties. At the Battle of Shanghai the Japanese won. Germany used a type of warfare that translated to "lightning warfare". It is used to massively overwhelm the opponent using many wepons and concentrated firepower. The military tactic is made to create disoganization on the opponents side. The results of this tactic are sucsessful in shortening the amount of deaths and expenditures in artillery. Japanese that lived in America had to close businesses and leave homes and belongings to go live in internment camps also called relocation centers.they were moved eastwards or even out of the country for fear of staying loyal to Japan even after Pearl Harbor.
