    Germany wanted to bomb the UK. The bombing lasted 57 nights in a row.

    The Italian Campaign was a joint Allied effort to kick the Italians out of the war. We invaded them.

  • Victory at Stalingrad

    The Soviet Army defeated the Germans' expansion into the east. The operation was called Operation Uranus.

  • D-Day

    Allied Forces move in on German-occupied Normandy, France. The Allied Forces included Canada, the UK, and the USA.

  • Operation Market Garden

    This was an Allied effort to break through Germany's borders. This effort failed.

  • Battle of the Bulge

    During the Battle of the Bulge, Hitler wanted to split the Allies. This battle lasted till January 25th, 1945.
