    In 1919 Adolf Hitler joined a small group of right wing extremist called National Socialist German Workers. Within a year he became the leader. He then tried to seize Munich and failed and was thrown in prison. Hitler wrote a book in prison titled Mein Kampf. In the book he talks about extreme nationalism, racism, and anti-Semitism. A year later he was released from prison. Hitler promised make Germany better. In January of 1933 Hitler became chancellor. On March 23, 1933 he became dictator.

    October 3, 1935. In Italy Mussolini decided to act on his own imperialist. Ambitions in 1935 Italy invaded Ethopia. Ethopians had out-dated weapons. The italians had Mussolinis tanks, machine guns, poison gas, and airplanes. The Ethopians had no chance. They fought very bravely. The League of Nation voted sanctions against Italy for breaking the International law. By early 1936. Italy conquered Ethopia. This early agression went unchecked by the world powers.

    Nazi-Soviet Pact was signed on August 23rd, 1939 in Moscow. It is a pact where they couldn’t do any act of violence or any attack against each other. They also agreed to divide Poland. Germany invaded Poland on September 1st, 1939 which started WWll. Hitler and Stalin signed the pact for Germany and Russia. It was also called the Non-Aggression Pact.

    The Manhattan project was the code name for the US secret project before WWII. This was to make and control an atomic reaction and bomb.     Battle of Britian

    After the defeat of France, Hitler decided to attack Britain. He bombed Britain for 57 days straight. Hitler hoped to break the British people’s morale. It didn’t work even though the British people had to in the subway system just to avoid the bombs. The main reason the people survived was because Winston Churchill could keep the people calm during the time of the bombing with his motivational speeches. In conclusion the Germans were not able to succeed at breaking the British people’s faith.

    In September 1940 Italys Norhtern African colony invaded Eygpt.Beneto Mussolini was the cause of this. When the British refused Hitler sent the "Desert Fox" over to push them back into Britain. They were fighting because the suez canal and the oilplus the fact that Egypt invaded Italy years back.

Marches continued until May 7, 1945 the day German armed forces surrendered on May 9, 1945. The crimes committed during Holocaust haunted for the Jews for the rest of their life.
