Attack on Poland
Germany took the first step of the war when they invaded poland. They moved in and began bombing Warsaw. This is important because it is one of the first actions that the Germans took. The French Fall
After some time of battle the French began to lose power. The Germans took control in the north after French leaders surrendered. This is important because Germany gained a lot of territory and power. -
End of Daylight Raids
Hitler decides to attack in the nighttime, After realiing that people were more alert in the day time, he began to conduct raids at night to have a more effective and shocking raid. This is important because it pushed Germany back since i showed fear. -
Afrika Korps
In orde to aid the italians in their battle with Britain. Hitler sent troops, the Afrika Korps, to the North Africa. They were eventually defeated, which is important because the Italians and the Germans lost morale. -
Operation Barbarossa
The Germans begin thier invasion of Russia. They announced they would be coming in frin Ukraine where they were stalled, they were not successful because of the winter. This is important because Hitler lost a lot of troops and he failed. -
Japan Cut Off
After having cracked the Japanese code the U.S deicovered Japan's plans and decided to stop selling them oil. This is very imporatn because itdove the Japanese towards the bombing of Pearl Harbor. -
Pearl Habor
Enaged at the U.S for cutting off oil supplies. Japan bombed the military base that was Parl Harbor. This is important because it is the final thing that made the U.S join the war. The Doolittle Raid
Under the leadership of Colonel James H. Doolittle the US began to bomb Japan, including its capital, Tokyo. This is important because a lot of pepole were hurt in these bombings and it intensified the war. -
Battle of Midway
The US and Japan engaged in a battle for the island of Midway. Midwat was an island essential for recharging planes to fly to the other continent. In the end the US was victorious. The Battle of Guadalcanal
In an efforts to take back the islands thta Japan had taken over the US invaded their first island Guadalcanal. The two countries fought fo si months before the Japanese fianlly retreated. Beginning of the "Final Solution"
Unsure what else to do, the Nazi's decide to take moe drastic measures to eradicate the Jews, and begin killing them with their camps. The american troops arrived for the fist time on the shore of Normandy, France. They were violently greeted by the Nazi's who instantly killed most of the soldiers, eventully the US took contol of the land. This is important because it led to the liberation of France. The Germans were able to overcome the americans in Ardennes, however they were not sucessful for long because they did not have backup sine they were fighting a two front war. The world leaders came together to decide what the world would be like after the war. FDR, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin were the ones to paticipate. This is important because it decided the fate of the world. -

The US solders moved ito Okinawa, they were vey successful and killed a lot of Japanese, This is important because the island was really close to Japan, and the Japanese bean to be afraid. -
Hitler Commmits Suicide
Seeing that he had lost and that he would be killed Adlof Hitler killed himself. Because of this General Eisenhowe announced the surrnder of the third reign from the war. This is imporant because it was the early end to the war. -
Hiroshima Bombing
After having issued an ultimatum to Japan, stating that if they did not surrender they would suffer great ruin, which the Japanese denied.
