Hitler only tours Paris for only an few hours. The resistance tries to fend off the NAZIs. -

It goes on for 54 days. There are many civilian casualities. The main bomb shelters was the Undergraond (Subway). -
Battle of Dieppe
The Canadians invade the north coast of France. They suffer tragic losses while the Germans only suffer 311 losses. One of the worst military failures in history. -
Canadians invade Sicily.
The Canadians, Americans, and British invade Sicily from North Africa. -
D-Day
The Canadians, invade Juno beach, the Americans invade Omaha and Utah beaches, and the British invade Sword and Gold beaches. It was a huge sucess. -

On Aug. 6th and 9th 1945 the Americans dropped the Atomic Bombs Little Boy and Fat Man on Hiroshima and Nagasaki eventully bringing the end of the war in Japan!
