    President Wilson declares to stay neutral in the war, continuing trading with both conflicted countries in the war. This leads to Germany's U-boats attacking the ships of merchants and trades as they fairly well of the materials and weapons for the opposing side. Americans felt anger and wanted to fight against Germany for all the loses they've endured.

    The Sinking of The Lusitania

    A German U-boat attacks a ship going to Great Britain; for they know that the weapons within the ship was for their enemies in the war. The event of the ship sinking leads to the deaths of 128 Americans. This makes Americans angered and furious with Germany's reckless behavior. President Wilson addresses Germany and comes to send four diplomatic protests. Germany agrees to keep their bombing away from trading and merchant ships, and paying for the damages they've caused,

    The re-election of Woodrow Wilson

    The American people voted for Woodrow Wilson for a second term as the president of the United States. The reason for this being President Wilson kept the U.S out of the war just like Washington had warned, 'Steer away from the foreign world.' Stay neutral and don't conflict with other countries. The slogan, Woodrow Wilson used seemed to appeal the American who wanted to stay out the war, making him be re-elected as President.

    The Germans send a secretive message to Mexico, discussing the tactical support as Mexico would be able to expand and retrieve their territories lost from the Mexican-American war. The British were able to pick up on the Zimmerman and wire it to the public, exposing Germany as a traitor to America's neutrality with them. With the new found information the stir of becoming involved in the war began by Teddy Roosevelt.

    President Woodrow Wilson and Congress come to a decision pf going to war against Germany, Wilson quotes, 'The world must be safe for democracy.' America is fed up with Germany's attacking the neutral ships and pledge. The Zimmerman Telegram strained the connection between U.S and Germany leading closer to entering World War I. The Americans and U.S began to see Germany as a threat to their country, which had to lead to protecting what they have, and the only way to do that is fight in the war.

    The first 14,000 American troops land in France to guard against the Germans, the landing is kept silent from the German's submarines. The French welcomed their arrival, in a parade and cheering of the American troops. The opened arms of the French shift the U.S focus to support and side-along with the allies, leading to the U.S making a bond with France and pursuing the take down of Germany in a bonded power.

    The Espionage Act of 1917 became expanded with The Sedition Act of 1918, this act made it illegal to publicly voice criticism of the government or of World War I. This Act passed with following President Woodrow Wilson's decisions to enter the war to fight against the Central Powers.

    The palace of Versailles in France held the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28th, the Central Powers and Ottoman Empire in the party of signing along with the Allies, victorious of their winning of the war. The signing assigned the blame to the Central powers, Germany and Austria-Hungary. With this 'penalty' The central powers, powers were reduced in influence, finally with the World War I ending after four endless years of battle at sea.
