    A labatory in New Mexico that created and tested the atomic bomb. It was made to create nuclear weapons during WW2.

    this is the day that allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to gain access to Europe. more than 156,000 allied troops made it through D-Day, but about 4,000 troops didn't make it.

    a meeting to discus the post war world plans as Germany surrenders to everyone. They discussed the division on the country and how they would be ran.

    The Soviet Union was the first to go in to Berlin and take over. After the gun fire stopped Soviet Union soldiers said that the silence that fallowed was deafening.

    Adolf Hitler committed suicide by shooting himself before he could be captured. he was in his bunker 55ft below Berlin when the city fell.

    This meeting was the last meeting of World War 2. They talked about Germany's economy, land distribution, and punishment.
