    Ferdinand was the heir to the Austrian throne. He was visiting Sarajevo in Austria. Someone threw a bomb in his car but it mist him and his wife. They continue driving and Ferdinand was shot and killed. They believe that the assassin is Serbian so Austria targets Serbia.

    Britain intercepted a telegram sent by Alfred Zimmermann which outlined plans about Germany and Mexico against the United States.

    The Germans sign the Armistice which was effective at 11:00 am. Fighting continued until exactly 11:00. 2000 casualties for all sides the same day. The soldiers were all claiming to get the very last shot of the war.
