Pearl Harbor was a surprise kamikaze attack which was launched by Japanese Air Force. Attacks were aimed for Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii. Which then forced the US into WW2 the following day. -
Battle of Stalingrad
The largest WW2 confrontation between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. They battled for the city of Stalingrad which was located in the southern part of Russia. The Soviets were victorious and it was the destruction of the 6th German army. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
The battle of Iwo Jima was a major fight for the island to come closer to the Japanese main lands. US Marines were victorious in claiming the island and eventually defeated the Japanese powers. -
Battle of Okinawa
The battle of Okinawa was a war for the providence of Okinawa island off the Pacific Ocean. The US marines attacked the island which was originally claimed by the Japanese imperial forces. The Allied powers won the battle yet, 100,000 casualties for Japanese forces, while the allies has 50,000 deaths.
