Japan considered Hawaii to be a "Dagger" at their throat both figurativally and litteraly. Admiril Isoruku Yamamoto, educated in the US agreed with the fact that the Japanese should bomb pearl harbour and take out the padific fleet (Although no aircraft carries were docked at the time of the attack). Japan Bombs Pearl Harbor part 2
Yamamoto was actually right to the day in which his fleet went to the battle of midway against Nimitz. Because the Ameruicans had already cracked the Japanese code, they knew that an attack was comming so Nimitz had a plan. His carriers would hide behind the horizon and wait for yamamoto to attack so that he could destroy them. Yamamoto was casreful and set scouting planes, but theone plane that spotted Nimitz's fleet had a broken radio and led to the inevitable downfall of the japanese.332 -

After Germany was losing, hitler extended his effort to crucify all of the jews. He also set up a ridiculous drafting age and in one last attempt to turn the tides of the war by creating treaties with britain and the US fouhgt in the battle of the bulge. UN formed
Made to replace the League of nations, this was formed after WW II and had 48 countries involved. Although the US and Soviet Union was having problems they put them aside to tackle this issue. After creating an 11 party securtiy council which held most of the power, there were 5 perminent ones (US, Russia, France, Great Britain, and China).
