Benito Mussolini promised to restore order by strong leadership. He and his followers threatened to overthrow Italys goverment, in response the king elected him prime minister. Mussolini made Italy into the world's first Fascist state. Which means a political system based on miltarism, extreme nationalism and blind loyalty to the state and its leader. The Alantic Charter was an outline for after the war ow they would like everything to be, thats what Churchill and FDR created. They agreed that no one would gain territory. The Hawaiin island of Oahu was attacked on December 7th 1941 by the Japanease by naval air, and ground forces by the harbor. The attack destroyed nearly half of the military aircraft on the island including battle ships too. around 2,400 Americans were killed.

They went to the Japanese Americans and would question them because there were thought they could be apart of spies or the attack. As jobs increased in the U.S Mexican Americans came to clam those jobs. When they would get jobs as these they would dress up for work in suit called Zoot Suits. Later on they started getting jumped on the street and such if they were wearing a zoot suit. Those were then called zzot suit riots.
