    This attack was called the Second Sino-Japanese War. This was the second time Japan and China has fought, creating the largest asian war in the 20th century. Japan wanted raw resources for their country, so they invaded China because Japan is mainly made up of a volcano.

    Italy signs joins the Axis Powers by signing Anti-Comintern Pact with Germany and Japan. The Axis Powers had the same ideas/wants. They both wanted to expand their nation; taking most of Europe.

    The Japanese had taken over Nanking; brutally murdered and tortured Chinese Soldiers and Civilians. More than 300,000 Chinese were killed.

    Germany and the Soviet agreed to split up Poland. On the other hand, France and England declared war on Germany. After 2 weeks, Hitler broke the agreement and took over the other half.

    This was the Jewish Resistance. It came in the form of aid, rescue and a small uprising. Jews refuse to surrender other Jews. It was an armed rebellion on the Germans. The Germans were surprised of the strength of the Jews. Germans finally stopped playing around and stopped the war.

    Hitler signed a secret agreement to kill children who had disabilities. As time past, the program expanded to other ages. An estimation of the death toll from this program is probably over 200,000.

    Germany was able to get through British mines because the garrisons were ordered to let them slip by. Germany demanded Norway to surrender but they refused and will fight alongside with England. Britain troops were transferred to France because of how powerful the German attacks were on France. Giving Germany a victory in Norway.

    This was a campaign made by the government to get women to work outside their homes. While men were sent to go out into war, women took their places in the factories. This is when people finally realised that women can do more.

    President Roosevelt approves the production of the Atomic bomb; creating the Manhattan Project. The total cost of the creation was estimated about 2 billion dollars. The use of the bomb Which was to save lives, test an expensive weapon and show off to Russia.

    The Japanese had bombed the US to disable them so they can take over plantations and China. This attack was a war tactic. After the attack, the US went into war with Japan.

    Right after the attack on Pearl Harbor, Japan took control on the Philippines. A general in the Philippines was ordered to leave the area; leaving many American and Filipinos sick and starving. Soon, the defenders were captured by the Japanese.

    POW in the Philippines were the American and Filipino soldiers. They were forced to march to a destination without any proper equipment. No food nor water. They constantly walked from morning to night; no breaks or they were killed when they showed signs of slowing down or if they fell down.

    Which was also called Operation Overlord. This is the largest sea, land and air overtake ever. This battle was on the Nazi occupied beaches in Normandy. The Allied forces won.

    High German officials realised that Hitler must die. That Hitler is leading them into a suicidal war. A German Colonel placed a bomb under a table that Hitler was using to study a map. The explosive went off, but Hitler was still alive.

    The last German offensive in the west. Germans tried to take over Antwerp which was a Belgian city. They successfully fooled the Americans and the battle was Chaotic. This continued into 1945. The Americans won.

    Russia, US, and england agreed to split Germany into 4 zones. Each zone was responsible for creating a new government and allowing free elections. However, Stalin broke the promise and forced the Soviet Rule.

    The US, England and Russia agreed that they will only accept surrender from the Japanese. That there was no point of continuing with the war because the Japanese will lose anyways. Japan will have to give up their military and create a peaceful government.
