  • Invasion of Poland

    Invasion of Poland
    Germany's attack to Poland was the thing that started the war.
  • Non-stop

    After the invasion of Poland, the attacks from the nazis and the Soviet Union didn't stopped.
    The Soviet Union seized Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and part of Finland.
  • The Germans

    In the spring of 1940, Germany invaded:
    -Norway
    -Denmark
    -The Netherlands
    -Belgium
    And in May 1940, Germany fought against the British army in their attempt of invading France.
    Germans pushed away the British and French troops to the west.
  • Battle of Britain

    Battle of Britain
    In order to protect their country, the British had an air force and it was tha only thing interfering between Hitler and his plans on conquering Britain. Hitler ordered a huge battle where the german planes bombed naval bases, ship yards, and war factories. This was known as the Battle of Britain. When Hitler realized he couldn't destroy the British air forces, his new plan was invading Britain.

    The French government surrendered to Germany and Great Britain is fighting alone against Germany. The English Channel protected them from invasions since the year of 1066
  • The German Empire

    The Balkan nations were added to the Hitler's German empire. He also invaded the Soviet Union and turned against Stalin. The Germna army made a great progress in its push east
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Japan was in its expansionism era (1940), it wanted some european colonies and the Philippines, which were governed by the US.
    So Japan bombed the naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.
  • Holocaust

    Hitler hate to the Jewish race was a normal thing on him. So he finally got a way to get rid of Jewish people on Europe, it resulted in the Holocaust.
    It also considered the undesirable people for Hitler (Gypsies, Slavs, people with mental disabilities and illnesses)
    Jews were carried on trains, most of the people died before getting to Auschwitz because of the lack of food and air.
  • Allied Invasion of North Africa

    The Allies (US, Great Britain, The Free France, China, and the Soviet Union) agreed in defeating Germany first and Japan was next. So they invaded North Africa adn by May 1943, they had defeated the German forces there.
  • Invasion of Italy

    Alies invaded Sicily and mainland Italy, but Hitler sent troops to Italy and save Mussolini.
    The fight continued until 1945 when Italy surrended and Mussolini was killed by italian resistance fighters.
  • Invasion of Normandy

    D-Day. The Allies armies crossed the English Channel so they can land on french beaches under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower. German lines were broken and pushed to the eastward.
  • Suicide

    Hitler commited suicide when he was surrounded.
  • Surrender

    Allies and the Soviet Union got Germany pressed and they finally surrendered to the Allies and the areas the Germans were occupying, now were for the Allies.
  • Japanese surrender

    Japanese surrender
    Japan refuse to surredner to the Allies armies, so they started bombing their cities daily.
    Japanese goverment still refused, so in August 6th, 1945 a bomb was dropped in the city of Hiroshima and it killed around 80,000 - 120,000 people.
    When they saw Japan wasn't giving up, they dropped a second atomic bomb on the city of Nagasaki three days later.
    Japan finally surrended on August 14th, 1945.
