• On 9 30 1938, leaders of Nazi Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy signed an agreement that allowed the Nazis to annex Sudetenland
• The Nazis demanded the Czechs give them the land or they would forcefully take it from them. France, Brittan, and Italy made the Czechs give up their land try to avoid war.

• Two foreign ministers that negotiated and agreed on 2 peace’s

• On 9-1-1939 1.5 million troops invaded Poland Bombers bombing air fields and sinking u boats.
• Poland gave them living space but, according to their plans they were racially superior

2. Battle of the Bulge
• Germanys last chance to take over all of Europe
• Most Allied forces were American forces so it was mostly the U.S’s battle
• On the morning of December 16, 1944 Germany launched a very large attack on the Allied forces
• Germany used over 200,000 troops and Almost 1,000 tanks
• The Allied force defeated Germany in the end

1. Liberation of concentration camp
• Many Jews and polish people were held in the concentration camp Auschwitz
• In January 1945 they liberated the camps
• That freed many people and saved their lives
