    The war between Japan and China began in July of 1937. It happended when Japan was claim to say they were shot first by China. Which forced Japan to have an all out invasion for China. The effects of the war were the 250,000 people killed in the Rape of Nanking attack and many more died also, and it also lead to Japan taking control over most of China.

    It happened on May 10, 1940 and lasted up to the end of the war. It happeded becasue the Germans wanted to end the war quickly and effectivly which is how they developed the lightning war or blitzvkrieg. The effects were that the allies were unprepared to attack the germans and resulted in them losing most of the time.

The effects were that over 3,500 people died, 350 aircraft were destroyed or damaged, and all 8 battleships of the U.S. Pacific Fleet were sunk or badly damage including the U.S.S. Arizona.

    The battle of Midway was fought in June 1942 and was considered to be the most decisive battles of WW2. It was effectively destroyed Japan's naval strength when the Americans destroyed four of its aircraft carriers. Japan never recovered from the mauling at Midway and it was on hte defensive after this battle. The aftermath for Japan was huge. At the they had lost four vital airraft carriers that were considered to be vital for the campaign.

    The battle of Stalingrad was one of the largest battles in human histor. It ranged for 199 days. The number of casualties are diffcult to come up with due to the vast scope of the battle and the fact that the Soviet gov. did not allow estimates to be made. In the begining the Germans inflicted major damage to the Russian army. At different times the Germans held up to 90% of the city and yet the Russian army took over the cities. Many more people died when the Russians counter attacked them.

By terms of the agreement, the italians would ve treated wihlenicency if they aided the Allies in expelling the Germans from Italy. In October, the Badoglio gov. delcared war on Germany. Rome fell 1944. Germany surrendered on May 1st when Italy surrendered.

    The battle started on June 5, 1944 near France when the allies step foot on the war with Germany. This event happen because Tthe allies have decided that they will confront Germany in a war and ddecide to attack in Normandy on the area that is know for D-Day. The effects were horrible. Alot of people lost their lives and sacrifice themseleves in order to take back Europe from the Germans. Finally this day in history proved to be the one of the horrible war cost of mens lives ever.

Finally, operation thunderclap went to plan and succesfully bomb Germany serval times but at a lost of some planes as well.

Before the US invaded, the island would be hit with more shelling than used against any pacific island during the war. The Japannse air defense forces stationed onthe island had been disrupting American bombing runs against Japan plus US Forces could utilze Iwo Jima's resources for its own.     The Potsdam Delcaration or the terms for surrendering is a statement calling for the Surrender of japan in ww2. On July 26, 1945. US president Harry S. Truman, Winston Churchill, and Chiang Kaishek issued the document, which outlines hte terms of surrender for Japan. The ultimaturn stated that if Japan did not surrender it would face utter destruction.

    Battle of Okinawa
    The US was getting closer to Japan in regaining control of the Japanese advacnes in the pacific. Okinawa was the final action the US did before teh decision was made to use the atomic bomb. This was because an invasion of the Japanese mainland would have been hugely expensive in the American soliders lives. The US suffered more than 50,000 casualties out of a total of fighting force of approximatly 183,000 men. The effects were that the US lost alot of lives making it the bloodiest battle.

Bonfires were allowed but the government trusts that only material with no salvage value was used. Celebration ended due to a thunder storm.

    The difference between hitler ruling the countries and the USA would be, they had more resources, they took care of their people, and their people died from war, not from torture. The USA had more resources than Germany did. This is because hitler was using all of the resources at one time and wasting them. While America was slowly using the resources so in the end they had a lot more leverage to defeat Germany. Germany did not take care of their people. They took their resources.
