Time magazine prints its 1938 Man of the Year edition choosing Adolf Hitler for the title, but does not show the leader's face on the cover of the picture. Hitler was the dictator of Germany. A very bad one. He was also the leader of the Nazi party.

After the intervention of Nazi Germany on 6 April 1941, the conflict is known as the Battle of Greece. In Greece its called War of 40, and in Italy its called War of Greece.

As the American destroyer approached Iceland the area where the sub had been spotted a British aircraft dropped a depth charge into the water making it rock the sub. The U-652 believing the Greer responsible for the charge fired its torpedoes. They missed, but he Greer made it safely to Iceland.
