Time magazine prints its 1938 Man of the Year edition choosing Adolf Hitler for the title, but does not show the leader's face on the cover of the picture. Hitler was the dictator of Germany. In the Italo-Greek War, was a conflict between Itsly and Greece, which lasted about six months. It marked the beginning of the Balkan campaign ofworld war two. After the intervention of Nazi Germany on 6 April 1941, the conflict is known as the Battle of Greece. In Greece its called War of 40, and in Italy its called War of Greece. -
Greer
British patrol bomber spotted a German sub called the U-652.The British bomber alerted the Greer, which responded by tracking the sub. As the American destroyer approached Iceland the area where the sub had been spotted a British aircraft dropped a depth charge into the water making it rock the sub. The U-652 believing the Greer responsible for the charge fired its torpedoes. They missed, but he Greer made it safely to Iceland. -

President Franklin D. Roosevelt warms the Japanese to cease all the aggression toward neighboring the countries or else face the United States forces. -
Attack on Perl Harbor
Rather than giving in to U.S. demands, the Japanese decided to surprise attack against the United States in an attempt to destroy the United States naval power before a official announcement of war was given. Thousands of familys, childern, parents, and relitves were killed. After Japan did this we bombed Japan back. It was a pretty bad bomb. The chemicals from the bomb melted their skin. -

Italy's government was fed up with the war and the invasion of Sicily . Badoglio finally approved to surrender, allowing the Allies to land in southern Italy and begin beating the Germans back up the peninsula. -
D-Day
About 100,000 American, British, and Canadian soldiers climbed out of the water at high tide and landed in France. Hundreds were cut down before they even touched the sand. Thousands more were hit crossing the beach. Nearly everyone, especially the Americans, landed in the wrong place, far from their commanders and buddies. But the ones who weren't killed, and even some who were wounded. -

After Japan attacked Pearl Harbor America wanted to tell Japen what we were made of. Years later America bombed Japan back. Three days later America bombed the city of Nagasaki. The bombs destroyed cities, and killed around 200,000 people. Soon later Japan surrendered to the USA, and world war 2 ened.
