When I was around the age of 5 I had a Leapfrog Leappad. It was device that used a pen to detect where it was on the page. This pen would then trigger audio and have the words read aloud, as well as play music and even starting a game when placed on a specific spot. -
The earliest memory I have of a teacher using an overhead projector was in 2nd grade. I remember going in front of the class and showing how to solve math problems using this type of technology. When I was 8 I went over to my cousins house and my aunt had a laptop. When I came over she would sometimes let us use it as long as we played educational games. I remember I wanted a laptop so bad so that year I asked Santa for one.
