    the ottomans conquered constantinople which was a symbol of byzantine power, they would eventually transform it into a major city for them, this also showed the power of the ottomans at the time and made them look like quite the fearsome opponent

    Vlad Tepes would war with the ottoman empire because he did not pay Wallachia's tribute to the sultan of the ottomans. the begging of the war would be amazing for Vlad he struck fear into the heart of the ottomans and Turks, and he would lead a very successful military campaign and he also fought back against the ottomans with a great show of strength proving their not invincible

    columbus discovered the new world when he was sailing for the spanish, this would lead to most of Europe going there to use it as a large source of income, goods, and for religious reasons. it would also lead to the institution of slavery as a major labor force in both Europe and the Americas.

    martin Luther states his grievances with the catholic church starting a split in it, with the sides being protestants and Catholics. This would lead to the overall decrease of power of the church in England and some parts of Europe.

    Hernán cortés a conquistador lands in Mexico. He would eventually lead to the mostly complete destruction of the Aztec empire and the massacre of their people.

    The trans Atlantic slave would become one of the greatest tragedies of human history. it started because the americas needed workers and they started to use slaves for all of the labor and infrastructure this lead to them needing many more which they got through the slave trade. it was prolific throughout Europe, africa, and the Americas.

    Henry the 8th starts the church of england

    due to wanting a son Henry feels the need to divorce his wife, this was not allowed in the church at the time in England so henry decides to spearhead the church of england as a new religion. This would succeed and he would take advantage of that and would lead to him having many wife's over his life. this event also greatly decreased the power of the catholic church in England.

    the council of Trent met because of the large amounts of corruption believed to be within the catholic church. it would lead to some ideas being outlawed by the church like paying for absolution, and would also push for more clerical discipline.

    large war around the middle east, which would result in large bloodshed. it also was a display of the ottoman might, and gave way into more ottoman power and rule across the middle east

    due to many disasters occurring in china like natural disasters and the economic downfall the peasant population was in a very angry state. this overall feeling would eventually lead to the peasants rebelling against the government because of large scale starvation and not being able to pay taxes. this would eventually lead with some other factor to the downfall of the ming dynasty.

    this conflict started with disagreements rising about the power of the king and his economic policies. Also a large part of this conflict started from disagreements within religious beliefs. it would end with parliaments victory and the overall decrease of influence and power of the monarchy

    the glorious revolution was a important series of events in Europe and it would lead to the exile of king James the second. This also was William and Mary ascension to the throne. the main impact of the revolution for Europe besides changing the monarchy was the limiting of king and protecting the people

    John Locke introduces the idea of the separation of church and state. this idea would become very important to many governmental structures. it also lead to the power and influence of the church decreasing

    the reign of terror was a period of time during the French revolution which was notable for the amount violence that occured during it. during the reign of terror the french republic killed anyone they though would be their enemy or opposed the revolution. this ended with many politicians and nobles being killed along with many civilians and many innocents.

    Louis the current king of France was alive during the french revolution, this was his mistake. due to the peoples opinions at the time they were very angry at the king, many of them wanted him dead, this would lead eventually to his execution. his execution would lead into the reign of terror with it setting the precedent of offing nobles and the sort.

    this coup was used to overthrow the new government that was instituted after the revolution. this is often viewed as the end of the french revolution, and it would also lead to napoleon taking rule of France and into the napoleonic wars due to a certain unknown general.

    these wars waged all throughout europe due to the many rulers being scared of france due to how anti monarchy they are, and they were also not friendly with the idea of Napoleon ruling France with a iron fist. at first the wars went well for napoleon and he showed his military prowess but eventually he would lose and be exiled and sign the treaty of Paris.

    the Atlantic slave trade ended. This showed some overall increase in morality in the world as people are trying to move away from the barbaric processes of the past.
