We planned what to do each day, bought a Japan SIM card to have internet there, packed some clothing and neccesary objects and exchanged some euros for yens.

We arrived in Tokyo and took a metro to the city. We checked into our hotel in Shibuya and walked around Shibuya Crossing, one of the most famous places in Tokyo. For dinner, we went to a sushi restaurant.

We visited a peaceful shrine in the middle of the city. Then we explored Harajuku and Omotesando, famous for their fashion shops. Then, we went to have dinner: Ramen, grilled fish and yakitori.

We took the bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto, the trip was fast and comfortable. Then, we checked in our traditional Japanese inn and experienced a tea ceremony. At the evening, we walked around Gion, famous for their traditional wooden houses and geishas.

We visited Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its many red torii gates. Later, we say the Golden Pavilot and walked around its peaceful gardens. We had kaiseki dinner at a local restaurant. It's a traditional Japanese meal woth many small dishes.

We took a boat ride at the Hozu River and enjoyed nature. Then, we visited the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Later, we had a final meal of tempura (fried vegetables and shrimp) and soba noodles. At the late evening, we took the train back to the airport to fly home.
