Italy entered the war on June 10, 1940 to be in part of the redrawing of Europe. -

The three countries Japan, Germany, and Italy make their alliance official, these three countries would later be called the Axis powers. -

This would be soon a complete disaster and humiliate the Italian army. They outnumbered the Greeks three to one but lost horribly, and would soon start a domino effect of costly battles. -

Italian and German forces were destroyed by the Allies, who humiliated them by pushing them across the desert in battle for over hundreds of miles. -

The British and Americans invade the Italian homeland, to gain a strategic battle point in thewar against Germany. -

The Allies invasion of the Sicily is final, and they have conquered the island. -
Mussolini Overthrown 2.
Once the allies freed Italy from the axis powers, Mussolini was exiled and put into German care. -
Italian Army Surrenders 8.
With Mussolin overthrown the Allies put in a new president who later signed a peace treaty with the Allies, surrendering the germany army then took control of the Italian army. -
Rome Liberated 6.
The Allies finally liberated the capital of Italy, making the country the Allies victory once and for all. -
Mussolini Executed 3.
Finally captured by the Allies, Mussolini was publicy executed in front of the Italian people, and facism was ended.
