    signed by king john of England. To limit the kings power. Showing the monarch has to follow law.

    it was a deadly plague. Went through Europe, killing 1/3 of the population. It was spread by fleas and rats.

    The invention of the printing press

    invented by Johannes Gutenberg. Improved the way we share information. Making books quicker and cheaper to produce.

    The fall of constantinople

    Ottoman Empire captured the Byzantine capital. Marking the end of the byzanntine empire.

    sign when 13 colonies declared there freedom from Britain. Written primarily on Thomas Jefferson.
  • The French revolution

    the people of France rose against monarchy due to equality. Led to fall of king Louis XVI. The rise of violence.
  • The abolition of slavery in British empire

    This act freed over 800,000 enslaved people I British colonies. Marking a major step in human rights.

    Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans on the moon with the spaceship Apollo 11.
