  • Proclamation

    A boundary had been established by the British located in the Appalachian Mountains. This boundary was created so that the American colonials could not enter, and their response to this action was to go against the law.
  • Sugar Act

    Sugar and molasses were highly taxed, the reason for the action was so they could raise money for the Crown. Colonial response to this act had been that they would just protest.
