    In 1943, Thomas Kuhn graduated from Harvard where he spent the rest of World War 2 studying radar both at Harvard and in Europe. He continued his education at Harvard, graduating with a Masters of Physics in 1946 and his Doctorate in Physics in 1949

    Kuhn's book, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, was published in 1962 in the “International Encyclopedia of Unified Science”. In this book, Kuhn redefines how science transforms and evolves over time. This revolutionary new idea, that normal paradigms of scientific understanding exist up until a crisis develops and there is a paradigm shift, was met with extreme criticism and interest.
