Radio Research Laboratory’s Theoretical Group
In the summer of 1943, Kuhn joined the Radio Research Laboratory’s theoretical group. As a part of this group, Kuhn's group was charged with developing countermeasures for enemy radar. This work brought Kuhn to the United Kingdom to work with the Royal Air Force where he would study German radar technology. His work eventually took him to Germany itself. -
The End of World War II
Once WWII ended, Kuhn returned to Harvard and graduated with his master's degree in Physics. -
Doctorate
Kuhn finished his doctorate with his Ph.D. Thesis on "The Cohesive Energy of Monovalent Metals as a Function of the Atomic Quantum Defects." -

Kuhn joined the University of California at Berkeley as an assistant professor in both the History and Philosophy Departments -
