Upon graduating high school, Kuhn realizes his passion for physics and mathematics and pursues studies at Harvard where he would obtain a BS, MS, and PhD in Physics.

While teaching at UC Berkeley he writes and publishes "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions". In 1982 after a lifetime of service to the scientific community Thomas Kuhn is awarded the Sarton medal. The Sarton Medal is the highest and most prestigious award offered by the History of Science committee.
