    Lasker was born in 1880 and grew up in Galveston, Texas, where his father, Moriss Lasker, was a prosperous businessman and towering figure in Albertr's life .

    In high school, Lasker began writting for the local daily newspaper--" The Galveston Morning News"--and working for his father .

  • Lasker prepared for a life changing career

    When he turned 18,he was determined to became a newspaperman. But his father thought other wise.
    His father then got Albert a job as an "office boy" at The Lord & Thomas Advertising agency in Chicago.

  • Albert Lasker gets married

    Flora died in 1936 following years of illness with arthritis and typhoid fever.
