Cameron Joseph Schuelke is born at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI at 12:12pm. He weighs 8lbs 13ozs and measures 21 inches long.

At 5 months old, we moved to a new house that was only about half a mile away from the old house. This is the house where Cam would grow up.

Cam takes his first steps and immediately starts running! Mom and Dad are very busy!

Cam gets 2 dogs for his second birthday. The golden retrievers are named Magnum and Marty!

On September 10, 2005, Uncle Mike died by suicide. This is a picture of him as a child.

Class of 2020! Cam had Mrs. Hoogterp at Brown Elementary.

Cam plays T-ball in Dorr. His mom helps coach the team.

Cam joins a Dorr travel baseball team where he plays shortstop and pitches. Mike is his coach and Ann keeps the book.

Because he sucked his thumb for almost 5 years, Cam has to get braces.

Ann's dad (Papa) is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. Within months, his personality starts to change. He is later diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

Cam turns 10...says he feels old!

Papa dies after getting pneumonia. We will all miss him.

Our beloved golden retriever, Marty, died suddenly. Originally thought to be a heart attack, the vet thinks it is the same cancer that took his brother's life over a year later.

The Byron Township All Stars finished 5th in the state.

Al LaShell, Cam's uncle, died suddenly of a heart attack while taking pictures at a cross country meet. He will be missed.

Cam got his bottom braces on first. The top will be put on in the Summer. Hoping to be done with braces by high school! (This is a dog we had visit us!)

The Byron Township Little League All Stars finished Runner-Up in the State tournament, losing 6-5 to Midland who went on to play the Regionals in Indianapolis.

Our beloved golden retriever was euthanized after a short battle with cancer. The house feels empty without a dog. Cam has only ever been without a dog for 3 months of his life.

After taking a year off from football, Cam decides to play again.

After years of Courthouse ball, Cam plays for the school team. Go Bulldogs!

Cam turns 13. Can't wait to see the changes he goes through as a teenager. This was our 2014 Christmas card picture. We wanted to recreate a pose from when Cam was little.

This was the first time Cam played out of state with an elite baseball team. Florida was really hot in July!

Cam is 14 years old. He is now in the building with his mom.

Cam gets moved up to play shortstop on the Varsity Baseball team. The team wins the league championship and also Districts.

Mom is almost more excited than Cam. No more being the chauffeur.

Cam plays his second Varsity baseball season, seeing time at both Shortstop and Pitcher. The team wins the conference and districts, making it to the regional championship game before losing.

Cam had the privilege of honoring his grandma, a breast cancer survivor, at the BC Bite Cancer game.

It has finally arrived...senior year! Cam was offered a preferred walk-on spot on the FGCU Eagles baseball team! Wings Up!

School is shut down starting March 13, 2020. Senior baseball season gets cancelled along with Prom and Graduation.

Cam plays Summer ball for the Traverse City Pit Spitters. He has a great season and earns the Pitcher of the Year for the Northwoods League.

Cam transfers to Northwood University, deciding to play baseball at a school where he can be a 2-way player.

Spent a few weeks in Massachusetts playing for the Cotuit Kettleers. Was awarded Relief Pitcher of the Year for the CCBL.

Decided to get out of the cold weather again. Headed to Ocala, Florida to play baseball and attend school.

The College of Central Florida baseball team goes to Colorado and wins the national championship. Cam is on the mound for the final out.

Cam records the most strikeouts of any pitcher in the Cape Cod Baseball League and wins post season All League Team honors for the Cotuit Kettleers.

After a 6-second video clip goes viral, Cam gets an offer to play baseball at Mississippi State. He is a Bulldog again!

Cam is drafted in the 19th round by the Cleveland Guardians and plays baseball for the Lynchburg Hillcats in Single A.
