He is supposed to go to zarephath. There is a widow woman who will care for him. She gets infinite flour and oil until the end of the drought because she did what Elijah said. Her son dies. Elijah prays over the boy and God brings him back to life.

He dies in a battle by a random arrow. He was disguised as a common soldier.

God lights Elijah's alter which had been drenched in water. There is fire from heaven burns up everything at the alter and the alter.

Ben-Hadad gets trapped in a city, they mourn and Ahab lets him go. A prophet prophesies that Ahab will get killed in a battle because he spared Ben-Hadad.

Then more men came and the angel of the lord said that it was ok so Elijah came down and he talks to them and Prophesied that Ahaziah would die. He did die.

Elisha asks for double the power of Elijah. Elisha cried, “My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!”

The Syrians heard a sound from God and thought it was the Israelites. They fled their town. There was food. The General died.

They are all blind and Elisha leads them into Samaria and they are captives. Elisha feeds them and lets them go. They never fight with Israel again.

Jehu goes to Israel and Jehoram comes out to meet him and Jehu is mad because of Jezebels idols. He kills Jehoram with a bow. He kills Ahaziah. He takes over Israel. He is the best king that Israel had but is still a bad king that worshiped the golden calves.

He built a foreign altar in Jerusalem and changed the temple worship to copy Assyrian practices.

The Assyrians send a letter that is supposed to make them scared. The Israelites win because of Hezekiah's faith in God. The Angel of the Lord comes and kills 185,000 of the good guys on the other side. Then Sennacherib king of Assyria got killed by his own sons when he came home to worship to his fake gods.

    God asks if he wants the sun to go backwards or forwards and he says he wants it to go backwards. The sun goes backwards and the Babylon's come to investigate. Then he gets prideful and takes the glory of God. He also takes them into the temple. He is punished for it and dies later.

    Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign. He was a bad king. He rebuilt the high places that Hezekiah had destroyed. And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord. And he burned his son as an offering. He put Asherah in the house of the Lord. Manasseh led them astray to do more evil than the nations had done whom God destroyed before the people of Israel. He got captured by the Assyrians and then repents to God and God forgives him.

    Amon was twenty-two years old when he began to reign. He was a bad king. He abandoned the Lord. And the servants of Amon conspired against him and put the king to death in his house. But the people of the land struck down all those who had conspired against King Amon, and he is killed. They make Josiah his son king.

    He is a good king. He did not turn aside to the right or to the left. He destroys a lot of idols. He reads the book of the law to everybody. He does a krazy passover. Pharoah goes to war with the Assyrians and asks if he can go through Josiah's land. He fights against Pharaoh and he gets shot by the archers and dies because he wasn't supposed to fight Pharaoh.

    In the 8th year of his reign he dedicates his life to God. He destroyed all of the bad idols and altars in Jerusalem, Judah, and Israel. He made dust of them and scattered it over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them. After 10 years of doing this he goes back to Jerusalem. They restore the house of God and make it nice.

    Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the Lord given through Moses. He gave it to Josiah and Josiah tears his clothes. They take the law to Huldah and she says that the people will get punished but not in his reign. Then he calls the entire nation together and reads the entire book of the law to the people. He says that he is going to make a covenant to God so that God might have mercy on them.

    Then Josiah contributed to the lay people, as Passover offerings 30,000, and 3,000 bulls. And his officials contributed willingly to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites 2,600 Passover lambs and 300 bulls. The people gave Passover offerings 5,000 lambs and young goats and 500 bulls. There is so much blood that Jerusalem gets washed in the blood of the sacrificed animals. It was the best Passover that was kept ever in the nation.

    Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. He was a bad king. Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried part of the vessels of the house of the Lord to Babylon and put them in his palace in Babylon.

    He is a bad king. Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. Then the king of Egypt deposed him in Jerusalem and laid on the land a tribute of a hundred talents of silver and a talent[a] of gold. And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. But Neco took Jehoahaz his brother and carried him to Egypt.

    Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. He was a bad king. He did not humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet, who spoke from the mouth of the Lord. He also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. He stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord, the God of Israel. All the officers of the priests and the people likewise were exceedingly unfaithful.

    Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He was a bad king. In the spring of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon, with the precious vessels of the house of the Lord, and made his brother Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.

    He was bad He Reins 7 months. Now when all the captains and their men heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah governor, they came with their men to Gedaliah at Mizpah, namely, Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Seraiah. And Gedaliah swore to them and their men, saying, “Do not be afraid because of the Chaldean officials. Live in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you. Then they took him and killed him. Jehoiachin repents.
