The burning of the books prevented anti-german books. He ordered Nazi’s to burn Nobody knew what he was doing because they erased the information that it was even happening. This affected my group because then no one knew that this was going on, so they had an unexpected battle.

Anyone who was found publishing anti-nazi material would be sent to a concentration camp. This affected my group by not giving them the real news. Also they couldn’t publish anti nazi material or they would be persecuted.

The president died so Hitler became the Fuhrer. He was going to be the president but he announced himself as the dictator. This affected my group because Hitler was able to start what he wanted to start.

This law was already an existing law but it was revised by the German government. This law made gay men get persecuted because they were corrupting “ german Values” this is because they did not have biological children, Since lesbians could still have biological children they were mostly not targeted. This affects my group because it means they were persecuted because they didn’t have biological children.

He was arrested under the Nazi revised paragraph 175. He was imprisoned in the neusustrum concentration camp, which was a camp made for gay men. He was released after 15 months, then had to go back due to two boys that turned him in. He was released after 8 months, due to his theater friends defending him.

The mass murder at Chelmo was the very first killing leading to the holocaust. It was also the first location to kill many people using gas. About 172,000 people were killed here.This affected my group because they were killed during these events too. Also, these events led up to the holocaust which also killed many members of my group.

This law was to kill off people who were helping the Jews. The death penalty was sent to anyone who was found helping the Jews hide out. My group was affected by this because they could have been hiding Jews too, and then they would also get the death penalty.

The allied forces had been freeing prisoners and the American troops were going to the camps and making sure nothing about the holocaust was forgotten. This affected my group because they were finally able to get free from the camps. They were able to normally live life.
