The Sons Of Liberty were the group of people who did the "Boston tea party" opposing the Stamp act of 1765. They stood for liberty (as the name implies) and wanted to remove taxes from British imports, and free America.

British soldiers shot into an angry crowd, who were insulting and throwing things at them. The British soldiers killed 5 people, wounded 6 others, and caused an outrage across the country. -
A group of people called the "Sons of Liberty" raided a boat with a bunch of tea leaves. Through this act they attempted to oppose the tea act, which removed import taxes on tea shipments. -
American patriots fought against the British, even though the patriots lost, they proved their strength. -
George Washington led an army against a group of mercenaries. The mercenaries were defeated, causing an American victory. -
A battle between Americans and the British. The British won with very few casualties. -
The Americans formed an army with help from the French and fought against the British. America had an overwhelming victory.

It was the treaty that ended a war. The treaty gave the U.S. a large amount of territory. -
Some people wanted to count slave votes, but others didn't. The people in power couldn't do both so they did neither, instead they found a middle ground. By counting every 5 slave votes as 3 normal votes, they could do both while doing neither, and appeal to more people. This was the day that the 3/5 compromise got put into action. -
The bill of rights contained the first 10 amendments.
