Earth Day was first held on March 21, 1970 in san fransisco and other cities on the first day of spring. But then another earth day was founded on April 22. While this April 22 Earth Day was focused on the United States.

Little league baseball allows girls to play.
This was a very big thing because for a while girls would try out and make it on teams. So then the little league head quarters decided to have no girls play. If the teams did not tell the girls they couldnt play then they would revoke the leagues charter.
