I was in about the 5th or 6th grade when my parents got a computer in our home. We got dial-up internet shortly after getting the computer. We used to get irritated when someone picked up the phone and our connection was interrupted. Sometimes we did it on purpose :) Image

In 8th grade I had to take typing class. I hated it at the time, but it has saved me so much time!! Image

My parents got me my first cellphone when I started driving in the 10th grade. It was a basic phone that could only call and text. Image

My parents go me my first personal computer. They knew I was going to go to college, so they got me one in my late junior year of high school. It was a bulky desktop with a huge monitor. At the time though, it was amazing! Image

When I was in college I was able to get my first smart phone. I got a blackberry phone and thought it was the coolest thing ever! Image

Teaching physical education, I don't use technology as much in my classroom. Some of it is due to students moving more than sitting. However, I need to learn more ways though to incorporate technology into the students learning. With the health component of physical education, I have been able used some of the things I learned in Google to incorporate technology.

Once I got my first teaching job, I was able to get a laptop. This made having a computer a lot easier and convenient. Image

I grew up learning only Microsoft. When Google came about and my school wanted us to switch to Google only, I struggled. When COVID came, I was forced to learn Google and actually like it. It was a lot of frustration, but I got there! [Image](www.google.com)
