A film distributor is a company or individual responsible for the marketing of a film. A production company, is a company that provides the fundraising for your film, aswell as this they also manage budgeting, scheduling, production, scripting, post-production, distribution and marketing of the work. -

our production company is called 'swing studios' the logo includes a girl swinging off the I in 'studios'. the logo is black with a white background. our logo was then made into an animation which is the logo changing from black with a white background to white with a blackground with splattered blood appearing and unappearing. -
Is our film going to be worldwide? why? why not?
our film will not be worldwide as it is a low budget film. We thought by showing it only in the UK that we can promote it and make it more successful here than making the film worldwide and not as successful. -

our stratagey will be releasing our film in the cinema. We are going to have a premiere located in London, Leicester Square, this will help advertise the movie more and increase the viewings. after 2 months of the film being in the cinema we will then release the film on to DVD, 2 months later. we will advertise that our film is out in the cinema with posters and AD's. -
Our film distribution company
Our film distribution company is 'Entertainment one' they have distributed films like; Insidious 2 and The Hunger Games. These films are highly popular in the UK and it will help to promote our film. -
other distribution companies
there are more well known distribution companies that producers well known films including 20th century fox, arrow films, artificial eye, axiom films, dogwoof, entertainment film distributors, icon film distribution, lionsgate, paramount pictures UK, Sony pictures, and Vertigo Films. We have not chosen any of these as our film is a low budget film so we will need a less well known distribution company. -

we have chosen a distribution company that as distributed other thrillers and horro films, as ours is a thriller/horror. entertainment one has produced insidious 2 which is also a thriller/horror.
