  • Locke becomes a very important professor at Oxford College after studing medicine, law, philosophy, and mathematics. He also graduated with multiple degrees.

  • Locke reads the Discourse on the Method by Rene Descartes'. This writing includes the famous quote "I think, therefore I am."

  • Locke is now Lord Ashley's personal physician. He supervises the liver operation that saved Lord Ashley and he went on to live another 15 years
