    Bolivar was boen on July 24th 1783 to a wealthy family in Venezuela.

    His father died when he was 3 years old and his mother died when he was 10, he had to go live with his uncle.

    When he was 16 he moved to Spain. He got married there and then brought his wife back to carcass and she died of a sickness. Vowed to never marry again

    Bolivar made a swear to never rest until South America was freed from Spain. He got his ideas from Napoleon, and he loved Napoleon.

    Bolivar is no longer seen as the hero, and people try to assassinate him. He is forced to flee the country to Jamaica. He writes a letter from Jamaica to Gran Colombia explaining his thoughts and the social-political situation in South America.

    In 1815 Bolivar saw the state of Venezuela, and decided to return so that he coild free the slaves to fight with the slaves in the civil war. In 1818 they are in stalemate.

    Bolivar learns from his old failures and learns from them. Then he beats the Spanish in a battle.

    In 1819 Bolivar and an Army of 2000 men crossed the Andes mountains to fight the Spanish. It is an easy win but he lost 200 soldiers.

    Without Bolivar there, Venezuela breaks into a Civil war, many people there wanted to unite South America and others didnt.
  • After War

    Then all the royalists are enielated, and with the Spanish gone, Bolivar ruled half of south America as a dictator.
  • Unpopular Bolivar

    In 1828 people come to dislike Bolivar and he is nearly assasinated. He seceded from Gran Colombia.
  • Exile

    Exile
    In 1830 Bolivar was exiled due to internal conflicts and political opposition. He found himself in a home of a fan of him in Santa Marta and died on December 17th 1830.
