    This is when the Greeks thought the atoms were small particles. They came up with the word "atomos" which means indivisible. (cannot be divided.)

  • John Datlon.

    John Datlon.
    Dalton thought the atom was a sphere that was the same throughout.

  • JJ Thompson.

    JJ Thompson.
    Thompson proved the exsistance of an electron.

  • William Crookes.

    Crookes make the cathode ray tubes.

  • Ernest Rutherford.

    Rutherford discoved the nucleus while shooting the alpha-particles at the gold foil.

  • Niels Bohr.

    Niels Bohr.
    Bohr said that the electrons are in orbit, or energy levels around the nucleus.
