    Proclamation of 1763
    The Proclamation of 1763 stopped the setellers from going to move into the Ohio River Valley. This caused the people to be mad at the king for not letting them move.
  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    The Boston Massacre was a massacre when some of the poorer people of Boston where tormenting some soldiers to the point they were throwing rocks. So the soldiers shot into the crowd and killed five people. This event spread threw out the colonies and Paul Revere made the engraving of "The Bloody Massacre". Which also made more people furious.

    Durring the Boston Tea Pary some reble colonist decideed they would dump all the tea overboard because of the Tea Act that was passed earlier. They dumped over one million dollars worth of tea into the Boston Harbor. This feuled the fire of the colonist and anger Britan.

    • This battle was meant for the British to gain the upper hand of the war by taking they're gunpowder and kidnapping John Hancock and Samuel Adams, Paul Revere and others warned the militiamen and John and Samuel.
    • This was the first real battle between America and Britain.

    • The colonial army wanted to kidnap this fort because of the fact it was right on the Hudson River.
    • This was the first battle America won in the Revolutionary War.

    • This was one of the few battles that America lost, but they caused many casualty to the Britain army.
    • The first battle the british won.

    -It was made to try to have the colonies to still be under british rule, but make they're own rules.
    The significince of this is what was written to the king he read it and it and declared war on the colonies.

    It was made by the main people who were supporting the war, they made this to sdet the laws after the war was done.
    The purpose of this was to show the British and the Patriots what they were fighting for and what they would do after they gained independence.

    • This occurred after the crossing of the Delaware River, the colonial army soon took over Trenton.
    • Winning this battle gave the soldiers a major boost in confidence.

    • This was the turning point of the American Revolution. It was an eighteen day battle, but they're were two major battles in this time.
    • The British won the first battle, but the next battle they were forced to retreat because of the fact they're numbers shrank because of the death of many of their soldiers.

    • This was a big setback to the colonial and many people died.
  • Yorktown

    • The colonies knew they had this battle in the bag thanks to the numbers. They won this battle while also eliminating a british spy. The whole purpose for this battle was to get the british to surrender once and for all.
    • The Patriots won the American Revolution.
