In order to pay off the debt, They started taxing the colonists, sparking the first dispute between the colonies and the crown

    The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament to help pay for British troops that were stationed and caused the Colonist to pay taxes and pay extra money for playing cards, Papers, Documents, etc and was carried out without the approval of the legislatures and was seen as extremely unfair causing colonists to be unhappy and upset.

    In one of the first battles in the American Revolution colonists of Massachusetts refused the authorization of the Britsh and so they fought the colonists won against the British ending the battle of Lexington and Concord.

It first started as a street debate/fight and quickly escalated to a deadly massacre with the soldiers quickly pulling out their guns and killing 4 civilians and wounding 6 and its important because when the world realizes how injustice the British are it causes a riot

    American patriots disguised as mohawk indians protested the increase of taxes called the Stamp Act so as a retaliation they tossed over 1 million dollars worth of tea bags and chests overboard into the ocean, This was an act of retaliation on the British for their injustice acts of taxation.

    A battle was held in the northern outskirts of Saratoga with approximately 15,000 American soldiers and 6,000 Red Coats that went on for 18 days. After a fierce battle, the British surrounded, and with no other choice they surrendered, Helping the Americans get their independence and helping them with more land acquired.

    The battle of Yorktown was held in Virginia and was a battle of land George Washington guided the Americans as both the Americans and the British were tired and were in desperate need of a win so George Washington thought of an Idea to go towards the South in Yorktown Virginia and take on the British. The battle lasted 21 days and ended with the British surrendering. It was a huge win for America leading for them to soon get their Independence

    The Treaty Of Paris was signed on September 3rd, 1783, Leading the American negotiators were John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay. The Treaty of Paris was to Finalize the Independence of America and brought peace to many countries
