Revolutionary War

  • British and Colonial strengths and weaknesses

In the beginning, the British had more money, more resources, a professional army, and the biggest navy in the world at the time. The colonies were poorly trained militiamen with no navy and less resources. However the colonies were fighting for a cause, while the British were fighting for money. Also, the British had to sail across the sea to get reinforcments while the colonists were already there, and had to travel no distance.
