General Vasquez invades San Antonio and takes prisoners, this causes a "general call to arms" and forced President Houston into war talks with congress.

Though told to retreat by Somervell, 300 men led by Colonel Fisher invaded Mexico, were outnumbered, and imprisoned (twice)

Using the new Colt revolver, Jack Hays men were able to kill 20 of 70 Comanches. This new gun power led to the meeting at Tehuacana Creek that resulted in a peace treaty.

By an act of Congress, Texas was annexed into the US. Sam Houston caught the Republic Flag as it was being lowered and the new flag was raised.
