I remember being in kindergarten and looking in the back of the class and seeing a chart that says "Pizza". I specifically remember focusing on the letters in the word and wondering why there were two z's in the word. -
In first grade I remember sitting with my class around our teacher Ms. Kelly and she was reading "Fancy Nancy" to us and I thought she was a real person. -
I don't remember what grade I was in but in elementary school we would always take a reading test and in that test I read really good and my grade was a "Q". -
In 5th grade when I first moved to Connecticut my class was reading a book called "My brother Sam is dead" even though I didn't have the chance to read the book I still had to write an essay about the book in which I failed. -
In 6th grade we read a book called "Bud not Buddy" I really liked the book a lot so I remember a lot about it. -
In 7th grade our teacher Mrs. C read Martin Luther Kings speech and I remember the usually loud class being so silent while she was reading -
In 8th grade we read a book called "The giver" about a dystopian society with a strange past. whilst reading the book the teacher would play the audio version in the background. After reading the book we watched the 2014 movie adaptation. -
One of my most recent memories of reading and writing was in Ms. A's class in 9th grade when we read "Fahrenheit 451" I remember making a poster for it and writing a few essays for It.
